Founded by the Dominican sisters in 1940, Siena College is a Roman Catholic secondary college for girls in Camberwell. Architects McGlashan Everist were commissioned with the refurbishment of the school’s Jubilee Centre. Educational Writing Boards were contracted to provide whiteboards and acoustic panelling. The result is a bright and airy collection of spaces that bring joy to the task of learning. Walls are lined generously with Echo Panel in light grey or cherry red alternated with Kaydra whiteboard panels. At the front of classrooms and in the auditorium vitreous whiteboard walls provide the ideal projection surface. A central breakout space features a room divider clad in light grey Echo Panel.
