EWB is constantly evolving to bring modern design to the forefront of every project we work on. We have developed and nurtured strong relationships with our preferred suppliers ensuring uncompromising quality of our work.
We make sure we are procuring only the best materials, whilst putting great emphasis on sustainability. Products that are manufactured carbon neutrally, and certification of Environmental Product Declaration EPD® are an important part of our sustainable procurement. The use of materials like Cradle-to-Cradle certified eᶟ Ceramicsteel whiteboard surface and Kaydra Acoustic Panel made from 100% recycled PET improves the health and safety of our classrooms and workspaces. Together we work towards a greener future.
At EWB we like to give a helping hand. When Workforce Plus, a not-for-profit training organization active in the Latrobe Valley and East Gippsland, came to us with the need for acoustic paneling for their training classrooms in Sale, we were happy to answer the call.
Workforce Plus students experienced high noise levels in their learning environment which they sought to rectify by applying insulation to the classroom walls. Educational Writing Boards provided sheets of Kaydra Acoustic Panel in a rainbow of colours. The students proved their skills by installing the acoustic panels themselves and did a fabulous job as these pictures show.
EWB is proud to work with Gippsland Artist Callie Leed, who exhibits locally and internationally as CLeed. In her work she gives new life to offcuts from manufacturing our premium range of Kaydra Vitreous Porcelain Magnetic Whiteboards.
Callie creates intricate pieces of art using the vitreous enamel surface of the whiteboard. She applies several layers of enamel and fires the works in a kiln at 800 celsius. Her works also combine other up-cycled elements, including china paints and mason stains that can be fired. Visit www.cleed.art to see the magnificent results of her artistic process.
At EWB, we love the idea that our manufacturing offcuts are being transformed into new and beautiful works of art that will endure through time.
